Digame Fuses contemporary Latin dance, theatre and music in London and contributes towards the integration of the Latin culture in London
Digame is headed by Diego and Boris; Diego has been at the forefront in the origin and development of the Latin American music in the UK since his arrival in 1986. He was involved in the foundation of the London School of Samba as musician, carnival organiser, fundraiser and event coordinator. In the Latin American House he was Administrator, Events Programmer and Arts Officer in their Management Committee. From 1989 to 1996 he became Programmer and co-producer for La Gran Fiesta Festival at the South Bank Centre. Then in 1996 he programmed and co-produced Colores de Colombia festival at the Barbican Centre and co-promoted the concert of the Aterciopelados at the Royal Festival Hall, Silvio Rodriguez concert at the Barbican
More recently with Boris under the name of their own company Digame Arts they have produced a Latin stage at the Thames Festival, last year we co-produced the To Dentro Festival, the first open air-Brazilian Festival in London and the River Tango Festival outside the Tate Modern Gallery.
